HELLO!

I'm Anna

I'm the creator of World Language Explorers. My journey began with a love for languages and a fascination with how culture shapes the way we communicate.

After teaching English to students from around the world, I realised that the most powerful learning happened when lessons connected to real places, people, and stories.

That’s what inspired me to create Adventures in British English — a course that brings London to life for learners everywhere.

How it all started...

I wanted to design something that goes beyond grammar and vocabulary, helping students experience the rhythm, humour, and everyday expressions that make British English so unique.

My goal is simple: to make language learning feel like an adventure, not a chore, and to help you feel confident and connected wherever your journey takes you.

Some fun facts about me...

I have been an English Language Teacher for over 20 years now!

I am a language learner too! I speak Spanish, and I'm learning Italian and French

On my first day as a teacher, I told all my students that the lesson had ended and that they could leave the classroom, when they actually had 1 hour and 30 minutes left of the class!

My favourite thing to do in London is to walk along the South Bank on a sunny day

I love to travel and I wish I could do it more often! One of my favourite countries that I have visited is Bolivia - amazing scenery and very different to England!
